India has won the T20 series against the West Indies but it is only now that the team is going to travel to the Caribbean. The first two matches of India’s tour to West Indies 2019 were played in Florida I conditions that were far better for the visitors than they were for the hosts. Now, the action shifts to Guyana for the last T20 international between West Indies and India.
Will moving back to familiar conditions make the difference for the West Indies? Will India give its bench strength a chance and play even more youngsters or does it not want to change a winning combination? Plenty of questions to be answered for both sides.
West Indies vs India 3rd T20 2019 is going to be played at the Providence Stadium, Guyana on the 6th of August 2019.
West Indies would have been disappointed at not being allowed to complete their inning in the previous match. Rovman Powell had played a good knock of 54 and kept in the game especially with Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer, and Carlos Brathwaite still to come.
There is nothing that can be done about the rain and the West Indies can only look forward.
The team dropped John Campbell from the side for the second T20 and gave Sunil Narine a chance to open the batting. It may make sense from a team balance view but we just don’t think that Sunil Narine is an opening batsman for the long term.
The West Indies is probably going to stick with the same combination for this match and then reassess if things are still not working out. The poor form of Evin Lewis is also becoming an issue and he has been struggling for quite some time now.
The middle order of the West Indies is very strong. Even without the presence of Andre Russell who chose to play in the GT20 Canada instead of turning up for his national side, there is plenty of power.
We hope Kieron Pollard returns towards the top of the order and makes the most impact with maybe Shimron Hetmyer or Nicholas Pooran could be sent to open the inning instead of Lewis.
The bowling for the West Indies was poor in the second T20. They were taken apart by Rohit Sharma and India’s all-rounders in the end. Keemo Paul was the worst hit and it was a mistake to bowl him in the death.
Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas, and even Khary Pierre were quite good in the overs they did bowl. They will all almost certainly get another game in the final T20.
Evin Lewis, SP Narine, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard, Shimron Hetmyer, Carlos Brathwaite, Rovman Powell, Keemo Paul, F Allen, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas.
Two wins from two matches signal a return to the usual for this fantastic Indian cricket team. The focus may be on the lack of titles, rightly so, but there is not taking away from the fact that India has been consistently brilliant in every format of the game for a very long time now.
Rohit Sharma played the way he can and dominated the second T20 while Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, and Krunal Pandya also made some useful runs.
India’s top-3 is going to remain unchanged and that is its biggest strength in the long run. India must examine whether this strength is preventing its middle order from developing in the short run. Lokesh Rahul and Shreyas Iyer are in the squad and could be given a chance but we don’t think it should be at the expense of the other youngsters that were brought in.
Instead, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli can rest to being in the reserve batsmen.
Similar changes can be made in the bowling department. Rahul Chahar is an excellent bowler who should be given an opportunity to play perhaps at the expense of Ravindra Jadeja or Washington Sundar.
Deepak Chahar is almost certainly going to play this last match in place of Buvaneshwar Kumar and that will allow every member of the squad to get some time in the middle.
Neither of these changes is going to weaken India too much. Having a strong bench allows India the luxury of bringing in players that are battle-hardened and ready to step up straight away. They have also had some experience of playing international cricket in the past.
India’s focus must be on winning but they cannot let the bigger picture of building a team for the World T20 escape their minds either.
Lokesh Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, V Kohli, RR Pant, Manish Pandey, Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rahul Chahar, NA Saini.
The team that wins the toss may want to field first because of the rain around

West Indies vs India 3rd T20 2019 is going to be played at the Providence Stadium, Guyana. There is a 30-re is a 30-40% chance of rain predicted in Guyana on match day and that is not a good sign. The rain in the islands can be frequent but also clears away quickly so hopefully, there should be no loss of overs.
The pitch in Guyana is expected to be good for batting and have some bounce in it for the fast- bowlers. Pitches in the Caribbean are seeing a resurgence and we hope to some lively surfaces for India’s tour of the West Indies 2019.
West Indies vs India 3rd T20 Dream11 Prediction is going to be assuming that India is going to be resting a lot of its big players and giving the youngsters a go. If that does not happen then the Dream11 team for West Indies vs India 3rd T20 is going to need some changes. We will be updating the Dream11 team on twitter after the pitch report and toss. Wicketkeeper: The poor form of Rishab Pant means that Nicholas Pooran is the only real option in this category. He has been batting well and could be pushed up to open the batting as well.
Batsmen: We have picked Lokesh Rahul, Shikhar Dhawan, Shimron Hetmyer, and Kieron Pollard as the batsmen for our Dream11 team. Dhawan showed signs of getting into form and Rahul has been very good India in this format. Hetmyer is a bit of risk because he could be very dangerous if he opens the batting or be wasted down the order. Kieron Pollard is our favorite batsmen out of these and we think he is going to have a big impact on the game.
All-rounders: Krunal Pandya has proved himself to be an excellent pick for India. he is picking wickets, scoring runs, and fields very well also. Rovman Powell is another all-rounder for the West Indies that has immense power and can bowl rapidly too.
bowlers: Sheldon Cottrell, Sunil Narine, Khaleel Ahmed, and Rahul Chahar are the four bowlers we like. The first three have been picking up plenty of wickets in this series while we think Rahul Chahar will play his first game and have an impact immediately.
Captain and Vice-Captain: We have selected Kieron Pollard as the captain and Khaleel Ahmed as the vice-captain for this match.
