West Indies
West Indies has played two matches against teams that do not have great bowling attacks and in both of them, its batting struggled. After going down to the Scots, the West Indians were reduced to 101 for 6 in their match against Zimbabwe.
There was no real spin on offer and there was nothing to suggest that the pitch was misbehaving. Not a single fifty was scored and only four sixes were hit. Kyle Mayers looks to be short of confidence, Evin Lewis is unable to hit the ball off the square, and Nicholas Pooran just keeps making strange shot choices.
This is not a batting lineup that you can rely on right now. Ireland is not the greatest bowling lineup either but we have seen that you don't have to be to put the West Indies in trouble.
Alzarri Joseph was brilliant in the previous match. He bowled with pace and kept on plugging away with wickets. Jason Holder, Obed McCoy, and Akel Hosein are all bowling well but not as well as we have seen them bowl recently.

Ireland
Ireland was under tremendous pressure in the previous match. It was chasing a stiff target, had lost some early wickets, and the required run rate was climbing. Out came, Curtis Campher and George Dockrell to absolutely blow the game wide open and ace the chase.
Campher ended with 72 while Dockrell ended with 39, both not out. While it was encouraging that Lorcan Tucker, Andrew Balbirnie, and Harry Tector also got a few runs, the poor form of Paul Stirling is a massive problem. Stirling was supposed to be the 'X' factor of this lineup with his experience playing around the world in the best T20 leagues but that has not happened.
Despite his lack of form, Ireland has shown that it has a decent batting lineup with more depth than is immediately obvious. It may not have the power that the West Indies does but it is more than capable of scoring runs.
A bit of a concern for Ireland is also going to be about its death bowling. Joshua Little is dangerous up front but apart from him, the rest of the bowling can be taken apart. Just one of the many big hitters in the West Indian lineup needs to come off to make this match one-sided.
