WIW vs ENGW Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Dec 11, 2022
The West Indies Women and the England Women's cricket teams are about to face off in a short T20 series and we really hope that this will be better contested than the ODI leg of this tour. England won all three matches by over 140 runs and just destroyed the West Indies.
The difference between the teams does get lesser as the overs reduce and that is what we are hoping form. England Women are still the overwhe, ning favorites going into this match, though.
WIW vs ENGW Team Previews
West Indies Women
West Indies Women failed to compete in even a single match during the ODI's. Can a change in format change their fortunes? While it is possible it is certainly not likely. West Indies has been struggling with the quality of its upcoming players for quite a while now. The retirement of Deandra Dottin has left a huge hole in their lineup and the fact that Stafanie Taylor or Hayley Matthews are also not as consistent as they once were is not allowing the West Inxies to compete.
These are not problems that are going to disappear in this match. Kycia Knight, Rashada WIlliams, Kyshona Knight, and Shermaine Campbelle are examples of promising players that are not being able to deliver. The bowling lineup is also not great and could struggle to contain the English batters.
West Indies Women Playing 11
Hayley Matthews, Aaliyah Alleyne, Shemaine Campbelle, Afy Fletcher, Cherry Ann Fraser, Shabika Gajnabi, Djenaba Joseph, Kycia Knight, Karishma Ramharack, Chinelle Henry, Rashada Williams.
England Women
England has been utterly dominant in the series so far. They have crushed the West Indies in all three matches on this tour and there is noting to say that the result will be different in the T20 internationals. The depth in batting is just incredible and any one of their top-6 or 7 could play a match-winning inning.
In fact, already on this tour we have seen Nate Sciver, Tammy Beaumont, Amy Jones, Sophia Dunkley, and Emma Lamb make crucial contributions. The lineups will shift a bit and we could some younger players get a chance but overall, England's superiority over West Indies in terms of batting quality is unquestionable.
The bowling unit for England has also done quite well. Kate Cross, Sophie Ecclestone, and Charlotte Dean are all in terrific form. They will back themselves to continue picking up wickets and drying up the runs in the T20 series.
England Women Playing 11
Danielle Wyatt, Sophia Dunkley Brown, Lauren Winfield, Natalie Sciver, Heather Knight, Amy Jones, Maia Bouchier, Sophie Ecclestone, Katherine Brunt, Sarah Glenn, Lauren Bell.

Pitch and Conditions
The weather forecast for match day in Antigua is excellent. There is no rain predicted and we should not have much trouble getting a complete match. The pitch has been very good for batting, as can be seen whenever England bats, but the West Indian batters have so far not been able to replicate the same. We think something around 150 should be on the cards in this match.
WIW vs ENGW Betting Tips
The odds being offered on England to win this match are quite poor but there is just no way that you can bet on the upset right now. West Indies has not shown us anything that indicates that they are about to suddenly start beating a vastly superior team.
