While the hosts were always expected to play the underdogs in this series, no one would have expected such a hapless performance from them.

Rashada Williams and Hayley Matthews put up some sort of resistance in the last match, scoring 38 and 35 runs respectively. But once the duo was back in the dugout, none of the batters looked dangerous enough to trouble the English team. Kycia Knight and Trishan Holder have a lot of potential in them but given the current situation, it is highly unlikely that they will be able to script a turnaround.

The bowling has been equally disappointing for the West Indies Women. Hayley Matthews has once again proved to be the only one who has been able to cause some trouble for the opposition and is the leading wicket-taker for the hosts. A lot of questions will be asked of the players and the coach once the series is done.

England Women

England Women have never missed a stride in exceptional performance in the past few weeks. After whitewashing the hosts 3-0 in the WODI series they are well on track to do the same in the T20s too.

Sophia Dunkley was once again among runs in the last match and ended up being the top-scorer in the squad with 44 runs. With that, she is also the leading run-getter in this series with 112 runs. She received good support from Lauren Winfield-Hill at the top of the order and captain Heather Knight lower down. Natalie Sciver and Amy Jones who were in top form in the ODIs haven’t shone through in the shortest format but that hasn’t affected the overall outcomes.

Charlotte Dean bowled an excellent spell of 4-19 in the last game, helping England Women win the game by 17 runs. She now has 7 wickets against her name from 3 matches. Overall, the England Women’s team has dominated the series and has towered over the proceedings.
