The long tour between India Women and West Indies' Women is set to come to conclusion on Thursday when the two teams lock horns in the final T20I of the series. West Indies Women had a terrific start to their tour, but lost their way and have not won even a single game thereafter. India, on the other hand, have been fantastic and have improved with every passing match. While the Indians are expected to do well in the upcoming match as well, West Indies are a more than capable unit who won't go down without putting up a fight. We expect a hard-fought contest in the last match of the series as well.
Things turned from bad to worse for the hosts as they failed to chase down a relatively simple total in the fourth T20I of the series as well. West Indies have been listless in the series so far and their performance in the previous match and their winless record so far is just an evidence of that.
Chasing a total of just 51 in the last match, West Indies Women never appeared comfortable in the middle and kept losing wickets at important junctures. A chase which should have been completed with considerable ease was made difficult by indisciplined batting by the West Indies' women. They eventually fell short by five runs.
Earlier with the ball, however, Windies' spinners were fantastic and played a decisive role in stopping India from geting a huge total. They picked up seven Indian wickets in not too many overs, but the work done by the Windies' bowlers was eventually undone by their poor batting.

While India looked fantastic and ruthless up until the beginning of the fourth match of the series, they showed a few vulnerabilites in the fourth match. The dismissal of their top-order triggered a mini collapse and Indian middle-order found it a tad difficult to do a patch-up job.
Bowlers, however, once again did an immaculate job and saved India from an embarrasing loss. Defending a total of just 50 runs would have never been easy, but India's bowlers coupled with some reckless batting from West Indies' batting scripted the fourth win on the trot for India.

Barring the last match, almost all the remaining matches in the ongoing T20I series has resulted in a landslide win for India Women. The hosts have failed to utilise the conditions as well as the support of home crowd in any of the matches so far. Going by the way things have gone so far in the series, a win for India in the upcoming match looks certain and betting on India would be the way to go.
