YOR vs WOR Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Aug 02, 2019

Just one victory out of five is not something that Yorkshire is going to be too happy about. It was one of the stronger teams on paper coming into the T20 Blast 2019 and its performances have not lived up to expectations. Yorkshire is now going to be taking on Worcestershire, the defending champions of the T20 Blast, and a team that is second on the Group A table right now.
Yorkshire vs Worcestershire T20 Blast 2019 is going to be played at Headingly, Leeds on the 2nd of August 2019.
YOR vs WOR Team Previews
Yorkshire
Yorkshire lost its last match to Lancashire after which its game against Northamptonshire was rained out. The reason for its poor showing so far has been its batting.
The team has a decent batting lineup but it has been making too many changes to the batting order and swapping players around when all that is required is a little bit of patience.
Adam Lyth, Nicholas Pooran, Gary Balance, and David Willey all in one batting lineup is a superb set of resources to have. Pooran seems to be batting too low at the moment, Gary Balance remains underutilized, and David Willey has not hit his top-gear.
The day this batting lineup sorts itself out, it is going to be difficult to stop.
The bowling has been good without being spectacular. David Willey, Duanne Olivier, and Mathew Pilans are the three standout bowlers in this group. One or maybe two out of these will have to have a very good day against Worcestershire to be able to keep the defending champions in check.
Yorkshire Playing 11
Adam Lyth, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, David Willey, Harry Brook, GS Ballance, Jonathan Tattersall, Jordan Thompson, Dominic Bess, TT Bresnan, SA Patterson, Duanne Olivier.
Worcestershire
Martin Guptill and Riki Wessels could not repeat their heroics from the previous game but it was Wayne Parnell who stood up and showed just why he is rated so highly on the T20 circuit. Parnell remained not out with 81 runs to his name in an inning that included 7 sixes.
Worcestershire is a very strong batting lineup that is filled with six-hitters like these. Guptill, Wessels, Callum Ferguson, Wayne Parnell, Ben Cox, Ross Whitely, and Ed Barnard are all capable of clearing the boundary on a regular basis.
This batting lineup is going to be hard to stop in its current form against Yorkshire.
Patrick Brown is the best bowler in this group by far and will pose the biggest threat to the Yorkshire batsmen. His change of pace and calmness at the death is brilliant for Worcestershire. Wayne Parnell, Daryl Mitchell, Brett D’Olivieira, and Dillon Pennington round out a pretty handy bowling attack overall.
Worcestershire Playing 11
Riki Wessels, Martin Guptill, Callum Ferguson, WD Parnell, Ben Cox, Ross Whiteley, Ed Barnard, Daryl Mitchell, George Rhodes, Dillon Pennington, Patrick Brown.

Pitch and Conditions
Yorkshire vs Worcestershire T20 Blast 2019 is going to be played at Headingly, Leeds. The weather forecast for the match is not very good. There is a lot of rain predicted during the day but the forecast gets better as the evening approaches. We will hopefully be lucky and get a full game in.
The pitch at Headingley is good for batting for the T20 matches. There is a good amount of bounce and carry which helps the batsmen hit through the line. A score of about 180 should be considered par here.
YOR vs WOR Betting Tips
We think that Yorkshire is going to be a hard side to beat at home and its batting lineup is due to come good sooner rather than later. Current form and batting power are on the side of Worcestershire and that is why they could edge this contest.
Bet on Worcestershire to win.
