PAK vs ENG Match Preview

Pakistan was shown its batting limitations quite clearly in the previous match. While its batters struggled to get boundaries and only another Babar special got the team to something remotely defendable, England made a mockery of the target.

We think Mohammad Rizwan is all but certain to walk back into the team in place of Mohammad Haris or Haider Ali. If it is indeed Ali that is replaced then Haris will have to play in the middle order.

The bowling should be bolstered by the return of Haris Rauf for this match in place of Shahnawaz Dahani who is struggling in international cricket. The spin bowling options are good but were ineffective with dew making the ball wet in the previous match. Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz have a massive amount of responsibility on their shoulders.

It is next to impossible to try and guess which eleven players will turn up for England. The team has been changed consistently with only the middle order of Duckett, Brook, and Ali remaining steady. We hope to see Mark Wood back in action for this crucial match, Hales keep his place, and Gleeson get another go.

Irrespective of who plays, England's batting approach is going to be all guns blazing. Its bowling could struggle if it has to bowl second, though.

Weather Report

There is no rain predicted for match day and so we should have no interruptions.

Pitch Report

The pitch in Lahore has been slow and helpful for the spinners. We have also seen that batters have struggled to get value for their shots once the ball gets a bit old. Making the most of the powerplay is going to be essential. Dew is expected to play a major role once more and the chasing team will have a big advantage.

Boundaries Galore

Phil Salt hit more boundaries in the previous match than all of Pakustan's batters combined!

Team News

Pakistan could being back its best players (Rizwan and Rauf) for the crucial decider or it may decide to rest them ahead of the T20 World Cup. England has made one or two changes for each match and should continue to do so.

Dream11 Prediction

We think England has a great chance of winning if it plays its strongest team. Overall, though, the six previous matches have shown us that there is no shortage of excellent players available from both teams. An even balance and mix of players

Top Picks

Ben Duckett - One of the few English players that have played every match. He is fantastic against spin and could be a very valuable positive match-up against the English spinners in this match.

Mark Wood - He did not play the previous match but we think he will be in action for this crucial game. His battle against Babar is going to be particularly interesting seeing as he has bounced him out twice.

Haris Rauf - One of the T20 bowlers period, Haris Rauf is at his best in the death. If the batters are forced to take chances off his bowling then all the better.
