About Darwin ODI
We’d love to give you a ton of details about this cricket competition, which we have seen called the Darwin ODI, Darwin ODD or Darwin and District ODI competition, but there is very little information available online.
This is likely because it is a small competition involving teams at home in Darwin and surrounding districts. Also, the 2021 season was only its second season, which means it is still a very new competition. Given that this competition was launched at the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, it is hardly surprising that there has not been much traction around this event.
Still, seven teams participated in its first two seasons, though we don’t yet know when the third season might take place.
Darwin ODI Teams
As mentioned above, seven teams participate in this competition. They are:
- Darwin Cricket Club
- Nightcliff Cricket Club
- Palmerston Cricket Club
- Pint Cricket Club INC
- Southern Districts CC
- Tracy Village CC
- Waratah Cricket Club
Waratah won the first season and managed to defend their title in the second season as well. The competition requires all teams to play against each other and the top two teams facing off in the final.
Betting Sites and Odds
Since the Darwin ODD is a smaller competition, you may not find odds for these matches everywhere. The first season took place from July to August, whereas the second season took place from April to May. So, there is not even a set schedule yet, which would help when looking ahead for futures or outright bets.
We have no news of a potential third season, though as avid cricket fans we certainly hope there will be one. Whenever a schedule becomes available, we will be posting it here. And we will be scouring our favourite betting sites for markets and odds. There is no guarantee we will find much, and betting sites will likely not post a ton of betting options either. But there should be some available, though at this point it is anyone’s guess as to when the next season will take place.

We expect most of the betting action for this competition to take place live, which means we may not be able to post our predictions far in advance.
