TNPL 7 will follow the usual format seen in the past seasons. Eight teams are competing for the ultimate prize. Each team will play against the other seven teams in a single-robin format during the group stage. The top 4 teams will advance into the playoffs.

The latest season of the much anticipated Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL 2023) is ongoing. The first match of TNPL 7 was played on the 12th of June, with the Lyca Kovai Kings taking on the iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans at the SNR College Cricket Ground in Coimbatore.
