ABD vs BNT Match Prediction - Dec 01, 2022

We are just about completely through in the Abu Dhabi T10 League and we have already seen plenty of fireworks in the competition. Nicholas Poona played a terrific knock to take his team home and with that win, the Gladiators certainly seem to be the team to beat in the tournament. The other teams are slowly but steadily catching up and the next few games are going to clear up a number of things.

Up next in the tournament, we have Team Abu Dhabi taking on the Bangla Tigers in a match that is of high importance for both these sides. Team Abu Dhabi will be itching to get to the top of the ladder whereas Bangla Tigers need some wins to get off the bottom half of the points table. The match between the two sides is to be played on December 1st 2022 at the Sheikh Zayed International Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

ABD vs BNT Team Previews

Team Abu Dhabi

Team Abu Dhabi have been brilliant in the tournament so far, having lost just one out of a total of four completed matches. They have had five matches gone by, one of which was washed out due to the rain and they had to share points with the Delhi Bulls. Another win here will push them to the top of the points table, one point clear of Deccan Gladiators and that is exactly what they will be aiming for.

As it currently stands on the points table, Team Abu Dhabi are placed third with seven points to their name and a net run-rate of 0.098. With a win here, they’ll have nine points to their name and will move to the top spot. A loss, however, will make things interesting for them as they will get back into the mid-table muddle.

On paper, Team Abu Dhabi have a pretty good side with pretty much all bases covered. They are in decent form too and will be brimming with confidence coming into this match. If they manage to play how they’ve been playing, getting past them could prove to be a rather difficult ask.

Bangla Tigers

Bangla Tigers haven’t been at their best in the tournament and they are already out of contention as well. Even a win here for them will, at max, push them to the fifth spot and that will certainly not be enough to take them through. Having said that, they have a competitive team and will want to finish off their campaign with a win here in this match.

Not that it matters, but on the points table currently, they are placed at the seventh spot with just two wins from a total of six matches played. They have just four points to their name and their inferior net run-rate of -1.244 speaks volumes about how poor they have been in the matches they have lost.

While they have the talent available, they are also apparently a bit too over-reliant on only a few players to deal the bulk of the damage. It is not going to be an easy assignment for them and unless they are able to play to their potential, they would be in it staring at yet another difficult day in this tournament.

ABD vs BNT Betting Tips

This may not be a match of high-importance for Bangla Tigers from the standings point of view but they will certainly want to win here. Team Abu Dhabi, on the other hand, will be more motivated to do well here as they stand a solid chance to move to the top of the table. Given how the two sides have played in the tournament so far, Team Abu Dhabi does look better placed. They also have a better-balanced side between the two, at least on paper, and are therefore our pick as favorites to emerge on top in this upcoming contest.
