Openers Litton Das and Rony Talukdar once again have the team a blazing start as Bangladesh scored 73 runs in the first 5 overs. Litton Das was in an especially belligerent mood as he 83 off just 41 deliveries and put up a century stand with his opening partner.
There was no let up from Bangladesh even after the departure of the openers as Shakib Al-Hasan and Towhid Hridoy scored runs at will. With the presence of Najmul Hossain Shanto, Shamim Hossain, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz, there is a lot of depth in Bangladesh’s batting and they will be looking to put up another big score here.
Taskin Ahmed has picked up 7 wickets in the 2 matches so far and will yet again play an important role here. Skipper Shakib Al-Hasan was once again in excellent form in the last match, picking up a fifer.
However, the form of Mustafizur Rahman and Nasum Ahmed remains a bit of a concern for the team as both have remained wicketless.

While not many people expected Ireland to win, the fans did expect them to put up some sort of resistance here. However, that sadly hasn’t been the case and the visitors have been completely outplayed in both the limited-overs format till now.
The top-order batsmen have failed to give Ireland a good start, with Paul Stirling, Ross Adair, and Lorcan Tucker all failing to play a big inning in the T20s. Harry Tector got good starts in both matches but failed to build on them, but he will be looking to stay till the end here. Curtis Campher showed great determination in the last match to score a half-century, but that wasn’t nearly enough to reach even close to the huge target.
Graham Hume is expected to lead the new ball attack along with Mark Adair, with Fionn Hand chipping in during the middle overs. Benjamin White had a good outing last time around where he picked up 2 wickets and the team will depend on him to bowl a good spell here. Ireland will need to play a fearless game here if they want a better outcome compared to their previous matches.
