Canterbury Kings have been one of the most consistent sides around in recent times and that has been visible in the way they have approached the matches. They have also been pretty good in this edition of the Super Smash and are the prime candidates of finishing at the top of the table.

Otago Volts

Otago Volts didn't have as good last seasons as they would have wanted those to be but they are doing pretty well here in this tournament. Having said that, they are still in a bit of a critical situation and winning at least one of their remaining two matches will be important. Better yet, a win in both their matches will push them to the top of the table and that is exactly what they will be aiming for - starting with this match against the Kings.

 

On the points table at the moment, Otago Volts are placed at the third spot with 20 points to their name and a net run-rate of 0.054. A win here will push them to the top spot, at least in the interim and that is what they will be aiming for.

 

Otago Volts may not be having star players in their team but they have done incredibly well with the team they have. They have gelled well together and will be aiming to perform once again in this upcoming match. If they can do that here in this match too, they will be well on their way to get to the top of the ladder.
