Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, and Odean Smith give a strong Caribbean flavor to the team. All of them are capable of hitting sixes from the first ball.

The squad also features David Wiese, Jason Roy, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, and Will Smeed as batters to watch out for. Not all players are going to be available for all matches, though, as their international commitments will clash with the Abu Dhabi T10.

Suresh Raina will become the first Indian player to feature in this league and that could be quite interesting to watch as well. He is a part of the Deccan Gladiators also.

Tom Helm, Josh Little, Mujeeb ur Rahman, and Taskin Ahmed are the big names in the bowling lineup. Overall, there is enough talent in this squad to put out a very strong team for every match and mount a serious defense of its title.

Team Abu Dhabi

Team Abu Dhabi was one of the strongest teams in the 2021 season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. They have a strong squad for this season as well with a number of Englishmen in their squad. Phil Salt, Alex Hales, James Vince, Adil Rashid, and Tymal Mills are all in the lineup. Some of these players are with England in Australia, though, and will not be available for selection for the first couple of matches.

Chris Lynn, Brandon King, and Fabian Allen are the other big short-format players that could make a contribution to Team Abu Dhabi.

We think the batting will be a bit underpowered till all the Englishmen return and the bowling is not the strongest either. Mustafizur Rahman and Andrew Tye are in the squad but some of the lesser-known players will need to raise their hands and make a contribution if Team Abu Dhabi is to get off to a strong start.
