The New York Strikers cricket team made a disastrous start to their campaign in the competition by losing their first game to the Bangla outfit. But they did stage a comeback of sorts in the last game by beating Chennai Braves by 27 runs to register their first points of the tournament. In their last match, New York Strikers scored 99 runs for a loss of 6 wickets from their 10 overs. The top run scorer in this match for New York was Paul Stirling with 32 runs from 15 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Several other batters chipped in with Eoin Morgan scoring 15, Azam Khan with 11 runs, Romario Shepherd with 19 runs, and Jordan Thompson with 15 runs.
