England Women are moving into a new era of their cricket as they start to pick younger players with an eye to the future. All of England's players have been playing the Hundred recently and are battle ready. Danielle Wyatt is the experienced pro batter that the team will rally around but there is also a lot of excitement around Alice Capsey.
Amy Jones and Sophia Dunkley will also play crucial roles in this lineup.
While there is a good mix of players, we don't think this England batting is as strong as it used to be. There are some areas to exploit for sure.
Kate Cross, Sophie Ecclestone, and Sarah Glenn will all probably find their way into the playing eleven. England has a great mix of spinners but the fast bowling options are slim. Once again, England looks decent but not strong enough to be able to dominate India.

Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Jemimah Rodrigues are all fantastic batters and we think India has a slight advantage over England in terms of batting strength.
The focus is obviously going to be on Madhana and Kaur but don't count out the others. Also, Sabhineni Meghana and Deepti Sharma are also more than capable of scoring runs under pressure.
Renuka Singh was the standout bowler for India during the Commonwealth games and so she is expected to lead the attack once more. Sneh Rana, Radha Yadav, and Rajeshwari Gayakwad are all in the squad and we expect at least two of them to play.
India has a very flexible T20 team where players can move easily in the batting order and the bowling options are plentiful also.

Pitch and Conditions
The conditions in Chester-le-Street are a bit overcast. There is some rain forecast but nothing too drastic. We may have a few interruptions but the game should go on.
