The number of batters that can make an impactful contribution for England is mind-boggling and there is certainly lesser dependence on just one or two batters in comparison to India.
England's bowling attack is also quite decent. It has Sophie Ecclestone, widely considered the best spinner in the game, Sarah Glenn, who is rising quickly in the rankings, and Lauren Bell who is extremely dependable with the new ball.
England can be beaten, especially by India who has proven that in the past, but the approach of this England team is always going to make it tough to get past.

India Women showed their worst in the first match and their best in the second. Energetic fielding from Radha Yadav, brilliant bowling from the spinners, and exceptional batting from Smriti Mandhana led them to a comprehensive win. A couple of things were very clear, though.
The first is that India's bowling struggled to close out the match even when it had gotten rid of the entire England top order. The second was that it still has to hope for runs from Smriti Mandhana or Harmanpreet Kaur in most matches.
There are not enough batters apart from Mandhana or Kaur stepping up. Even Shafali Verma seemed to be quite out of form although she did get a start in the previous match. We are not sure if the kind of success that India enjoyed in the second match is sustainable.
