The bowling was really put to the sword by Rakheem Cornwall and Azam Khan in the previous match. Only Romario Shepherd emerged with respectable figures. The bowling is probably more of a concern at the moment than the batting.

The Jamaica Tallawahs were propelled by a couple of impressive innings by Brooks and Nabi with the bat that led them to victory against the St. Lucia Kings. Of course, it was not just about the batting, a brilliant bowling performance from the spinners ensured that the target was never under threat.
Mohammad Amir picked up an early wicket after which Imad Wasim, Mohammad Nabi, and Fabian Allen kept things under control. This bowling attack is the biggest strength for the Jamaica Tallawahs going into Qualifier 2 as well.
The batting lineup for the Tallawahs could have done better but we think they would not be too unhappy with the fact that Brooks and Nabi led from the front. Their best batters in CPL 2022, King, Powell, and Reifer, did not make much of a contribution.
Having more players in form is always a good thing and a positive sign for the Tallawahs ahead of this knockout fixture.
