India
India scored 208 in its previous match, a score that was certainly at least 15 runs above par, and looked to be in a very good position at the end of its inning. Hardik Pandya starred with 71 off just 30 deliveries with three sixes to end the inning.
Apart from Virat Kohli, all the other batters played their part. KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav got important runs while Rohit Sharma batted with intent as well. The problem for India has not been its batting. We have consistently seen the team score big runs with plenty of boundaries and sixes.
The problem has been the bowling. Jasprit Bumrah is expected to make a comeback and we also think that Deepak Chahar could get a look-in ahead of Bhuvi either in this match or down the line. Axar Patel was the best bowler in the previous match by a mile and he will play a very important role again. Yuzvendra Chahal is also going through a rough patch and will be under pressure.

He should be prepared to face a bit more spin in the coming matches.
Australia's batting is very deep and has a lot of power. Finch, Maxwell, David, Wade, and Inglis are all free-stroking batters that take the attack to the opposition from the first ball. The one batter that looked a bit out of place was Steve Smith.
Australia's bowling was better than India but it was also put to the sword. Adam Zampa and Glenn Maxwell will be the two bowlers that really need to improve their showing in the next match. Josh Hazelwood was the best bowler for Australia in the previous match and could be a factor once more.
