With Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Chamika Karunaratne all in the lineup, Sri Lanka has a lot of batting depth. It is more than capable of getting the better of a weak Indian bowling attack on its day.
Sri Lanka's bowling has been quite poor and that is where it will have to improve dramatically. Wanindu Hasarnaga and Dilshan Madushanka seem like the only bowlers that pose threats on a regular basis. The match-up of Maheesh Theekshana against the Indian Top-3 is favorable on paper and if he can pick up some early wickets, Sri Lanka could be in the game.
