Bhilwara Kings

Bhilwara Kings lost their qualifier game against India Capitals on Sunday. But the team showed some fighting spirit to beat Gujrat Giants on Monday and reached the final of Legends League Cricket for 2022. Bhilwara Kings finished the group stages of the competition in the second position and they were stronger than Gujarat Giants and Manipal Tigers during the league stages of the competition. On Monday Bhilwara Kings needed 195 runs to win the game. Kings got over the line in this match to book a place in the final with 9 balls to spare.

In this qualifier, the top three batters for Bhilwara Morne van Wyk, Shane Watson, and William Porterfield contributed 139 runs. Porterfield managed to hit a second half-century in a row in the competition. The Bhilwara Kings put up a good bowling performance while playing on a batting-friendly wicket while beating the Gujarat Giants in the eliminator game. The only two bowlers from the 8 used in the innings that did not take wickets were Yusuf Pathan and Jesal Karla. Sreesanth picked up 2 wickets for 28 runs to catch the eye of everyone and Fidel Edwards chipped in with one wicket for 31 runs.
