New Zealand Women

New Zealand Women's team is one of the best in the world and is consistently a challenger for the big trophies. This is because their players play cricket around the world and have especially benefitted from the exposure they have got in the WBBL. 

Sophie Devine, Amelia Kerr, Suzie Bates, and Maddy Green will lead the batting lineup. This is a very strong batting unit with an incredible amount of experience. We think Devine and Kerr are likely to make the biggest impact with the bat in this match. 

Lea Tahuhu, Jess Kerr, and a number of all-rounders (Devine, Kerr, Jensen) are all likely to help round out the bowling attack. In home conditions, this New Zealand lineup is going to be very difficult to stop. 

Bangladesh Women

The Bangladesh Women's cricket team has not progressed as well as one might have expected. Their batting still does not have the depth required to compete with the better teams and the bowling is pretty one-domensional. In conditions that will not favor their spinners, the Bangladeshi bowlers will struggle. 

If Bangladesh has to compete in this series, its batters will have to play better than they have shown themselves to be capable of in the past. 

Sharmin Akhter, Nigar Sultana, and Fargana Hoque are the best batters in the Bangladeshi side and have been for a long time. These are not new players, though, and to expect a sudden increase in their performance would be a bit unrealistic.
