It’s raining cricket at the moment and we have plenty of matches happening across the globe and the next few months are going to be pretty exciting for the fans and the punters. We also have two major ICC events - Asia Cup and ODI World Cup coming up in the next year and all teams will be looking to build towards that.

In the CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge Division One 2022/23, we have Boland taking on Titans in what will be an important match for both these sides. Boland and Titans are both languishing in the lower-half of the points table and will be eyeing to get further up. The match between the two sides is to be played on 9th December 2022 at the Boland Park, Paarl.

Boland

Boland might have gotten off to a poor start in the tournament but they would, by no means, be disappointed thus far. They have plenty of resources at their hands to turn things around along with the extra match they have at their hands. A win here will possibly move them ahead of the Titans and while that might not be enough to put them in the grand scheme of things, it would certainly be enough to kickstart their campaign. They have a decent side on paper that did not fire well enough in the last match, but will be itching to go here. All they would need to do is to play to their potential and if they can do that, getting past them could prove to be pretty challenging, even for a side as good as the Titans.

A win here will push them into the top-half of the ladder and that is exactly what they will be aiming for. They have a pretty good side on paper and with South Africa not playing any international cricket at the moment, they have their full-strength side available. They would need to play to their potential and if that happens, Boland will have their work cut out.
