West Indies

West Indies won its match against the UAE by 17 runs in a performance that was far from convincing. Only Brandon King and Nicholas Pooran got into double figures and six players were dismissed under five. Also, Yannic Cariah had a slight injury scare and is probably not going to play this match. 

West Indies 'should' have enough batting depth and power to overcome the Natherlands but it has been known to fall prey to associate teams in the past. A couple of its batters (Lewis, Charles, and Brooks) need some runs in international cricket and could be susceptible. 

The bowling lineup is pretty well-settled. Akeal Hosein and Raymon Reifer are the two big threats to Scotland as the big outfield will work in their favor. 

Netherlands

The Netherlands was defeated by Scotland in its previous outing. As far as associate nations go, the Netherlands has slipped below Scotland, Namibia, and probably even the UAE. It is going to be quite tough for it to find a way to beat the West Indies. 

There are some experienced and talented cricketers in the lineup. Max 'O Dowd, Bas de Leede, Vikramjit Singh, and Stephan Myburgh can all bat. They have their limitations as batters but they are not entirely useless. Tom Cooper is also in the middle and he has played some vital knocks in the BBL. 

Fred Klaassen and Brabdon Glover are both pretty good bowlers. They will make good use of the new ball. The question will be about the quality of the bowlers to follow. Roelof van der Merwe and Timm van der Gugten are both fairly decent bowlers to have in the lineup. 

If the Netherlands can pick a couple of early wickets, they could certainly put the West Indians under pressure.
