The winners of the 2019-20 edition are back in the competition after missing out on the last season. The team played its opening match against the Leeward Islands and was thrashed by 3 wickets. Nevertheless, the team will be looking to bounce back here.

Teddy Bishop and Kevin Wickham had played some excellent cricket in the U19 World Cup earlier this year, registering centuries. Other players to watch out for include Keagan Simmons, who, along with Kevin Wickham stitched a 68-run partnership in the first match, as well as Kirk McKenzie.

Joshua Bishop was excellent in the first match, picking up 4 wickets, and will once again look to make a big impact. Nyeem Young has proved to be an excellent asset as an all-rounder in the squad.<br />  

Barbados

Barbados had a torrid time in the last season of the Super50 Cup and finished 5th on the points table. They had managed to win just 1 of their 5 matches and failed to reach the semi-finals. However, they have picked up some form in the run-up to this competition. Barbados successfully defended it’s Regional 4-Day Competition title earlier this year and will be looking to put up a better performance in the limited-overs format.

Jonathan Carter will once again be the mainstay in the batting department. He was the top-scorer for the team last season, scoring 300 runs at an average of 61. Kraigg Brathwaite and Shai Hope, who takes over as the captain, too are in good form, while Roston Chase is a handy all-rounder.

Akeem Jordan will lead the bowling attack, along with new comers like Javed Leacock, Ramon Simmonds, and Jair McCallister.<br />
